Staying overnight in public car parks

Regulations about the usage of public parking lots in Spiez.

Campers are still welcome in the commune of Spiez. However, you are requested to use the parking spaces recommended by the commune of Spiez and Spiez Marketing AG. The condition for using the recommended parking spaces is the payment of the parking fees and compliance with the rules (no camping, sitting outside, barbecuing, night-time rest, littering, etc.). In addition, the vehicle must fit into the space markings. If the vehicle is too long/wide, parking/overnight stays are not permitted. Please note that spending the night in roof tents or setting up tents on public land is still prohibited in accordance with the communal police regulations.

Overnight stays are recommended in the following parking lots, which are subject to charges:
Kiesplatz Neumatt (Neumatt gravel parking lot)
Kiesplatz Längenstein (Längenstein gravel parking lot lawn side)
Parking spaces along the Interlakenstrasse after the Faulensee outdoor pool
Güetital parking lot

Parking is prohibited for motorhomes (campers) and caravans in the Parking lots: Regez, Schloss, Hotel-Restaurant Seegarten Marina, open-air swimming pool, Spiez cemetery, Längenstein gravel parking lot (school building side), Faulensee tourist office, Faulensee open-air swimming pool and Faulensee village parking lots. 

All metered parking spaces are metered 24 hours a day during the season (April 1 - October 31).
