Bicycle circuit trail Lake Thun

With the bicycle around Lake Thun

The two-wheel classic with panoramic view of the lake and mountains.

Once around the lake on two wheels? The circuit is popular and, in both directions, it has equivalent ascents and descents. This route is ideal for racing bikes, everyday bikes and road e-bikes. From Spiez a slight downhill road to Thun makes the start easier. The circuit which is about 47km long leads for about three quarters of the way directly along the shore. Between Därligen and Faulensee there is a paved bicycle path between the road for cars and Lake Thun, otherwise the route runs along the main road. Mostly bicycle lanes. Those who would like to incorporate more inclines can do so by diverting to Aeschi, Beatenberg, Sigriswil or Heiligenschwendi.
